“Prior to training with Patty I was a typical gym junkie weightlifter who disregarded mobility and joint health in pursuit of gains. This style of training was giving me chronic pain in both shoulders and led to me developing tendonitis in my wrist which starting seriously compromising my ability to surf. I sought treatment for years to manage the pain but no chiro, physio, or witchdoctor made much of an impact. This was the catalyst in deciding to stop throwing myself against a wall and pursue a more holistic style of training that actually enhanced my surfing ability.
My goal with Patty was improving strength and mobility while managing pain. Not only did the program vastly improve muscular capacity in ways I didn’t know were possible, but the targeted movements prescribed by Patty strengthened the vulnerable points in my body and almost completely eradicated the pain in these problem areas. A year later this has still held true for me, I rarely experience pain in either of my shoulders or wrist while surfing.
Patty doesn’t pretend to know the answer to your ailment immediately, instead he commits developing a program that targets the issue and works through possible solutions. 10/10 would recommend for anyone who’s health is a priority.”

“I’ve been working with Pat for a little over a year and I would hate to think of where I’d be without him. When I first started I’d been going to the gym for a few months with not much direction and no real goal for my progression.
After sitting down and talking about what I wanted to get out of my program I had a clear objective for my athletic improvement. I was 60kg, tall, lanky, was getting pushed around and run past and had a knee niggle from a hyperextension that was holding me back for what felt like years.
Now I feel, look and am stronger, faster and more athletic than I ever thought I’d be. Pat has also greatly helped me with knee stability and strength to a point where I can fully trust it again, with a full loads and the most strenuous running I’ve ever done. He’s been thorough with everything, from checking up on various niggles and injuries regularly, making sure I’m am getting the most out of my sessions and to be willing to adapt and change the program to suit my needs.
